The Oyster Social returns for its Fourth Annual celebration as Chicago’s premier oyster festival. Sunday, August 9, 2026 The Leavitt Street Inn & Tavern Bucktown, Chicago For 2026, The Oyster Social is evolving into a fully VIP experience. In past years, growing attendance created incredible energy, but also longer lines and a more crowded atmosphere. This year, attendance is intentionally limited to create a more intimate event where guests can enjoy each tasting, interact with participating chefs, and experience the evening at a more comfortable pace. Every ticket includes a tasting from each participating chef and restaurant, allowing guests to experience the full event without worrying about additional tasting purchases. By limiting attendance, we’re able to focus on what matters most: exceptional oysters, outstanding food, great drinks, and meaningful hospitality. Fewer guests. Better access. Better food.
